Ron Varasteh

Manager & Host of OC Traders since 2014

Ron earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a minor in Applied Physics and a Master's of science degree in Computer Engineering with emphasis in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics by the time he turned 22.

He has been an entrepreneur and has had many tech businesses, ever since graduating from college. He's been active in the markets, since the 1990s. Ron wanted to meet other traders in a safe environment without distractions, in order to really dig deep and collaboratively all learn from each other.

This is why and when OC Traders was born, in 2014, on Meetup. Within 3-years, by 2017, Ron became a full-time trader. Ever since, his income predominantly depends on his active trading.

During the 2020 pandemic, we developed a tool with ZulipChat that would theoretically become a repository of all past presentation material that the presenters had given permission to share with all, as well as a place for all of us to collaborate with each other. This is available to all of you, free of charge, even if you don't choose to donate. In order to gain access, however, you must first receive an invitation to create your own account. Here is where you can submit your email info and to give us permission to invite you.

An overwhelming number of you wanted us to remind you about upcoming meetings and events. This is available to all of you, free of charge, even if you don't choose to donate. In order to enjoy this service, however, you must first grant us permission, per FTC requirements. Here is where you can submit your mobile number info and to give us permission to include you.

WE pay for Meetup, Zoom, Zulip, Text, and Website services
